President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov continues to receive congratulations on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. This is reported by the state news agency TDH.

The head of state received congratulatory letters from representatives of the government of the Russian Federation. Among them: Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko and Governor of the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation Igor Babushkin.

In their messages, the Russian statesmen expressed their wishes for good health, happiness, prosperity and success, and emphasised the importance of preserving the historical memory of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
