National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, welcomed the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, at Ashgabat International Airport, TDH reports.

The guest was greeted according to national tradition with bread, salt, and flowers. Following the ceremony, the two sides held a brief meeting in the airport building.

Hero Arkadag expressed his gratitude to Sadyr Japarov for his visit and participation in the International Forum dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality. The President of Kyrgyzstan conveyed his appreciation for the invitation and highlighted the significance of the upcoming event.

During the conversation, the mutual interest of the two countries in developing friendly relations and expanding cooperation across various fields was emphasized.
