On 12 December, Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Turkmenistan to participate in events marking the 30th anniversary of the country's permanent neutrality, according to the news website Turkmenportal.
This was announced by Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Yuri Ushakov at a briefing.
He emphasised that the visit will be held at the invitation of the Turkmen side. Earlier it was reported that President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov invited Vladimir Putin to Ashgabat to participate in the Peace and Trust Forum.
