International scientific and practical conferences and olympiads in computer science, ecology, biology, finance, chemistry and other fields will be held at universities in Turkmenistan in November. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Mammedov reported on preparations for the events at a Cabinet meeting on October 17, according to the TDH state news agency.

The programme of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas includes an open international online olympiad in computer science and a conference titled “Digital Technologies, Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity in Science and Education: Current Trends in Scientific and Technological Progress”.

The S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University will host a conference titled “Sustainable Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex” and the 5th Open International Online Olympiad in Ecology.

The Turkmen Agricultural Institute will organise the 3rd International Competition of Scientific and Project-Based Research titled “Agricultural Innovations: A Bright Path to Sustainable Development”.

The Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan will represent the medical field, hosting an international scientific and practical conference titled “Current Issues in Modern Dentistry” and the 5th International Online Olympiad in Biology.

The Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management will organise the 3rd Open International Online Olympiad in Finance and the 3rd International Scientific and Practical Conference titled “Sustainable Economic Development: International Experience and Promising Areas of Growth”.

The Turkmen State Institute of Finance will host the 3rd Open International Online Olympiad on International Financial Reporting Standards.

Transport-related issues will be addressed at the Institute of Engineering, Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan. The programme includes the 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference titled “The Role of Turkmenistan’s Sustainable Transport Policy in Strengthening International Transport and Logistics Cooperation”.

Magtymguly Turkmen State University will host the 5th International Chemistry Olympiad and a conference titled “The Importance of Best Practices in the Sustainable Development of Chemical Science and Technology”.

The Aba Annayev International Academy of Horse Breeding will host the 2nd International Online Olympiad titled “International Peace and Trust as the Foundation of Economic Progress”.

The conferences and intellectual competitions are intended to strengthen international cooperation in science and education and promote the exchange of best practices.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the proposal to hold the international events and instructed the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers to organise the necessary preparations.
