Drillers from the ‘Nebitgazburawlaýyş’ Trust, part of the ‘Türkmennebit’ State Concern, continue to achieve excellent results. In the first half of the year, the specialists completed the drilling of 12 productive wells, drilling a total of 67,516 metres, which is 12.5 per cent above target, according to the online newspaper ‘Nebit-Gaz’.
The teams from the ‘Goturdepe’ Drilling Operations Department made a significant contribution, having completed the construction of five wells at the ‘Goturdepe’ and ‘Uzynada’ fields, four of which are production wells.
As part of the development of the ‘Northern Goturdepe’ field, wells No. 176, No. 311 and No. 414 were brought into production. The use of modern drilling rigs improved the efficiency of the work.
One of the key achievements was the development of well No. 1824 at ‘Eastern Goturdepe’, which reached a depth of 3,900 metres. A commercial flow of oil was obtained from the lower red formation, and following the completion of workover operations, the well was put into production and currently produces 38.7 tonnes of oil per day.
Further development of the field involves the development of deep horizons and the drilling of new wells. In the near future, specialists will commence construction of well No. 1825. The use of modern technologies and equipment will improve production efficiency and strengthen the potential of the country’s oil and gas industry.
