President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers in digital format, reviewing key issues on the state agenda. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

Chairwoman of the Mejlis Dunyagozel Gulmanova reported on the progress of improving national legislation. Draft laws ‘On Scientific Intellectual Property’ and ‘On Virtual Assets’ are currently being worked on, as well as amendments to existing regulations.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Hojamyrat Geldimyradov presented information on the preparation of a meeting of the Joint Working Group of Turkmenistan and Tatarstan. The agenda includes issues of cooperation in the economy, industry, energy, transport, ICT, agriculture and other sectors.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nokerguly Atagulyev reported on the preparations for the meeting of the inter-governmental commission in Doha. The discussion focused on expanding cooperation in the trade, economic, investment, transport, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

Deputy Prime Minister Bahar Seyidova presented a draft resolution on the announcement of the annual ‘Türkmeniň Altyn asyry’ competition. Three creative competitions for young performers, musicians and young talents are planned. The results will be announced in September 2026. The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution and gave relevant instructions.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Foreign Affairs Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov presented information on preparations for the President's participation in the Seventh Consultative Meeting of the Leaders of Central Asian Countries in Tashkent and the upcoming state visit to Uzbekistan. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the strategic role of regional cooperation and instructed to ensure comprehensive preparation.
