Turkmenistan and Croatia prepare for a new stage of cooperation

On 7 October, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia Gordan Grlić Radman. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

The guest expressed his gratitude for the reception, emphasising Croatia's desire to strengthen friendly ties with Turkmenistan, and conveyed greetings from Croatian President Zoran Milanović and Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov responded by sending his best wishes to the Croatian leadership, noting that the visit of the Head of the Croatian Foreign Affairs Ministry would be an important step in the development of bilateral dialogue and cooperation.

During the conversation, it was emphasised that Turkmenistan, adhering to a policy of neutrality, develops peaceful relations with all countries and actively interacts with international organisations, including the UN.

The President of Turkmenistan noted the productive nature of relations with European countries and stressed that relations between Turkmenistan and Croatia are based on the principles of friendship, equality and mutual benefit.

The parties noted the active dynamics of political and diplomatic contacts, including cooperation at the UN and support for each other's candidacies in international structures.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed confidence in the further strengthening of partnership and the development of mutually beneficial relations.
