On 10 July, Turkmenistan's Foreign Affairs Minister Rashid Meredov had a phone conversation with Albert Shingiro, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation in the Republic of Burundi. This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan.

During the conversation, the parties discussed opportunities for deepening bilateral cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.

Particular attention was paid to preparations for the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC 3).
