Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Mekhrie Bäşimova, held a meeting on June 4 with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Palestine to Turkmenistan, Rana Abu Hijleh. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the talks, the two sides discussed current issues of Turkmen-Palestinian cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Particular attention was paid by the diplomats to cultural and humanitarian cooperation. In particular, they considered the possibility of holding joint events aimed at preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of the two countries.
