At a Cabinet of Ministers meeting on October 23, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Annamammedov reported on preparations for the country’s Construction and Industry Workers’ Day. An international exhibition and conference titled “Development of Turkmenistan’s Construction, Industrial, Chemical and Energy Sectors” will be held to mark the occasion, the online publication «Turkmenistan: Golden Age» reported.

Representatives of foreign companies, domestic private enterprises and relevant government agencies are expected to attend the forum. The program will also include bilateral meetings to discuss prospects for cooperation.

The exhibition will showcase modern technologies and equipment for the construction, energy and chemical sectors, as well as road infrastructure. Participants will have an opportunity to exchange experience, discuss joint projects and establish business contacts.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the forum’s importance to the national economy and instructed the deputy prime minister to ensure that the events are organized to a high standard.
