The TIF 2025 Investment Forum, which will be held on 18-19 September in Ashgabat, will bring together representatives of government, international organisations, financial institutions and business. This was reported by the news agency Orient.

The main objective of the event is to strengthen economic ties, attract investment and develop sustainable partnerships. The forum will open with a plenary session on ‘Turkmenistan's Investment Appeal as a Factor of Strategic Efficiency.’

Key speakers will include representatives of the government and international organisations, including the World Bank, the EU, the Eastern Committee of the German Economy and the leadership of Tatarstan.

The programme includes nine thematic discussions on the development of energy, transport, logistics, digital and ‘green’ technologies, the agricultural sector, trade, public-private partnerships and economic diversification.

Separate sessions with the participation of the World Bank and the EBRD will be devoted to climate, the circular economy, water resources, trade and healthcare, including the ‘One Health in Central Asia’ project.

The forum will serve as a platform for presenting large-scale projects in energy, infrastructure, agriculture and innovative technologies, creating opportunities for international cooperation.
