At the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov stated that contemporary political, economic and social challenges require coordinated action by states and international organisations. This was reported by the news agency ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.

In cooperation with the UN, Turkmenistan focuses on ensuring international peace and security and is ready to take practical steps in this direction.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that, as a neutral state, Turkmenistan will contribute to creating an atmosphere of cooperation, mutual understanding, and respectful dialogue that ensures stability and sustainable development on a global and regional scale.

The Head of State also noted the importance of the practical application of the principles of neutrality to achieve these goals.
