A session of the 4th Interparliamentary Forum, “Economic Integration, Sustainable Development and Expansion of Regional Partnership,” was held in Dushanbe with the participation of representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan. This was reported by the press service of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan.

The participants discussed the development of economic cooperation in Central Asia, attracting investment, leveraging transport and logistics potential, and strengthening interparliamentary ties. Particular attention was paid to the exchange of legislative experience and the improvement of the legal framework for developing economic relations.

A representative of the National Parliament of Turkmenistan spoke about the country's initiatives in environmental protection, climate change adaptation, the rational use of water resources, the development of an innovative and circular economy, digitalization, and human capital.

At the conclusion of the session, the participants highlighted the importance of exchanging experience and regional initiatives for sustainable economic development and strengthening friendly relations between countries.
