Turkmenistan presented its approaches to energy development at an international forum

On May 5, the international forum “Yerevan Dialogue 2026” began its work in Yerevan. A delegation from Turkmenistan is participating, led by Deputy Foreign Minister Akhmet Gurbanov. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

In his speech, the head of the delegation stated that Turkmenistan is modernizing its energy sector, improving energy efficiency, and reducing emissions. The expansion of renewable energy use was highlighted, taking into account economic stability and social policy.

It was emphasized that the country is taking steps to develop “green” energy. Priorities include reliable energy supply, workforce training, and equal access to investment.

Special attention was given to international cooperation. The role of engagement with the UN and international financial institutions was noted. The forum continues its work.
