On 31 October, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Mammethan Chakyev presented a report on the activities of subordinate structures for January–October 2025 at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

The growth rate of work performed and services rendered by the transport and communications complex was 113%. The plan for freight transportation was fulfilled by 100.6%, and for passenger transportation by 105%. Individual indicators by department: Ministry of Rail Transport – 106%, Ministry of Road Transport – 113.1%, Turkmenistan Airlines – 110.3%, Sea and River Transport – 108.6%, Ministry of Communications – 120%.

After hearing the report, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised the importance of modernising the transport sector, improving the quality of services and introducing digital services, instructing the Deputy Prime Minister to take measures to increase passenger and freight traffic volumes.
