A meeting between the management of the State Concern ‘Türkmengaz’ and a delegation from PETRONAS was held in Ashgabat. The parties discussed current projects, priority areas of cooperation and prospects for further interaction, according to the news website TerraNews.

The Chairman of the Concern, Maksat Babayev, noted the importance of the long-standing partnership with the Malaysian company, which is one of the key investors in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the situation in global energy markets and confirmed their interest in the sustainable development of Turkmenistan's energy sector.

The meeting was another step in strengthening strategic cooperation and opened up new opportunities for the introduction of advanced technologies.
