The aviation personnel training school of the ‘Türkmenhowaýollary’ agency has reached an important professional milestone by receiving the ‘Trainair Plus’ certificate from the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO). This prestigious certificate opens up new opportunities for training aviation specialists not only at the national level, but also internationally. This was reported by the IIC.

At a government meeting, the Director General of the Transport and Communications Agency, M. Chakyev, presented a report on the significance of this achievement. Obtaining the certificate will allow the introduction of modern international training standards, expand cooperation with foreign aviation centres and organise specialised courses under the auspices of the ICAO in 2025.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov supported the initiative to develop the training centre, noting the strategic importance of training highly qualified personnel for the country's civil aviation. The Head of State instructed to ensure the systematic implementation of educational programmes in accordance with international requirements.
