Turkmen athlete Rahmet Taganov won a silver medal at the World Ju-Jitsu Championship, which is being held in Bangkok (Thailand). This was reported by the news website Turkmenportal.

R. Taganov competed in the weight category up to 69 kilograms and lost to Canada's Wheeler Kevin in the final. Ismaeel Isa from Bahrain and Jeong Cheol Soo from the Republic of Korea won bronze medals.

The competition is being held at the Hua Mak Indoor Stadium, where more than 800 participants from 59 countries have gathered.
