Teachers from the Aba Annaev International Academy of Horse Breeding made a working trip to the Slovak Republic. Representatives of the university took part in an international training seminar held at the University of Agriculture in Nitra, according to the press service of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

The event was held from 3 to 6 November 2025 as part of the Erasmus+ programme's Green Deal for Central Asian Universities (GDCAU) project.

During the seminar, participants discussed issues related to the integration of the UN Sustainable Development Goals into educational programmes, the improvement of training courses, the introduction of two new disciplines, and the development of a joint master's programme. Representatives of the academy gave presentations on the structure and content of curricula, the expected results of student training, and modern teaching methods.

On 6 November, the academy delegation visited the Horse Breeding Centre of the Slovak University of Agriculture, where they learned about the organisation of the training process, methods of overcoming equestrian obstacles, and the system of veterinary examination and diagnosis of horses.

As a result of the visit, the curricula for a number of disciplines were updated and the level of professional training of the academy's teachers was improved.
