Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev presented President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov with the Order of ‘Friendship of the Highest Degree’. This was reported by Turkmenportal, citing the newspaper ‘Turkmenistan’.

The award ceremony was held on Monday at the Kuksaroy residence in Tashkent during the Turkmen leader's state visit.

When presenting the award, Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasised that this decision was in recognition of the significant contribution made by the President of Turkmenistan to the development of friendly relations, mutual trust and strategic partnership between the two nations.
