On 12 November, Turkmenistan's Foreign Affairs Minister Rashid Meredov had a phone conversation with Hungary's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó, according to TerraNews.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of Turkmen-Hungarian cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields. It was noted that regular high-level contacts play an important role in strengthening bilateral relations.
The Heads of Foreign Affairs exchanged views on opportunities for further cooperation within international organisations, primarily the United Nations.
Special attention was paid to preparations for the International Forum on Peace and Trust, which will be held on 12 December this year in Ashgabat.
