At the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov proposed organising a World Summit on Culture of Peace and Trust. This was reported by the news agency ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.

The Head of State emphasised that bringing countries' approaches to global processes closer together and building trust and mutual understanding requires a systematic and consistent approach. In this regard, the President of Turkmenistan proposed holding an international summit focused on these tasks.

Among the priorities of the event, Serdar Berdimuhamedov highlighted the development of a global Code of International Trust. This document should become a universal basis for building relations between states on the principles of respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as stimulate cooperation and joint solutions to global problems.
