A meeting between the newly appointed German Ambassador Ina Lepel and the Ambassador of Turkmenistan, A. Movlamov, took place in the capital of Pakistan, during which the parties discussed prospects for regional cooperation. The meeting of diplomats was devoted to discussing Turkmenistan's energy and transport initiatives involving Pakistan and Afghanistan, as well as the possible participation of German companies in their implementation. This was reported by the IIC.

The Turkmen diplomat provided detailed information on his country's infrastructure and energy projects being implemented with the participation of Pakistan and Afghanistan, emphasising their importance for the economic development of the region. The German side expressed interest in the participation of German companies in these initiatives and noted their strategic importance.

The diplomats reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening stability in the region and agreed to continue dialogue at various levels.
