On 27 September, Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan (Russian Federation), took part in a ceremonial parade to mark the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence. This was reported by the news agency ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.

Following the conclusion of the official part of the event, Rustam Minnikhanov highlighted the development of ties between the regions of Russia and Turkmenistan. According to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, the country’s infrastructure is undergoing rapid change, new enterprises are emerging, and opportunities for joint projects are expanding.

I would like to congratulate the entire population of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen leadership on this great occasion and on the changes taking place in this country. Every time we visit, we see how the cities are changing and how new enterprises are springing up.
