The International University for the Humanities and Development (IUHD) has announced the second International Olympiad in Philosophy and Economics for university students from Turkmenistan and other countries. This was reported by the news agency ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.

The competition will be held online from 20 to 24 October in one round. The working languages will be Turkmen, Russian and English. All interested students are eligible to participate, and there is no limit to the number of applicants from a single university.

The Philosophy and Economics Olympiads will be held in two categories: Category A will include students of any specialisation, and Category B will include those who do not study relevant disciplines.

Registration is open until 12 October on the IUHD website: iuhd.edu.tm/competitions. Universities can also propose tasks — 20 test questions and 5 theoretical questions, which must be sent to the organising committee 20 days before the start of the competition.

The organisers emphasise that the aim of the Olympiads is to support talented young people, stimulate scientific and creative activity, and develop international cooperation and knowledge exchange between students and teachers.
