On 5 August, Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov met with Secretary General of TURKSOY Sultan Rayev. This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan.

The parties discussed ways to expand cooperation in the field of culture and art, noting the potential for the development of scientific research, creative exchanges and joint events.

The role of cultural interaction as a basis for strengthening ties between Turkic-speaking states was emphasised. At the end of the meeting, mutual readiness to further strengthen the partnership was confirmed.
