On 16 June, the Dimitrie Gusti National Village Museum in Bucharest hosted the grand opening of the exhibition ‘Harmony through Heritage: 30 Years of Neutrality of Turkmenistan.’ The event is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutral status, recognised by the UN, as well as the proclamation of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The ceremony was attended by diplomats, representatives of Romanian state institutions, scientists, cultural figures, students and journalists. The director of the museum, P.Popoiu, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Romania, A.Annayev, and the State Secretary of the Ministry of Culture of Romania, D.Bacuna, spoke at the event.

In their speeches, they emphasised the importance of cultural exchange between the countries and noted that Turkmenistan's neutrality, enshrined in its Constitution, remains the basis of its domestic and foreign policy. The exhibition will run for 30 days to mark the 30th anniversary of the country's neutral status.
