At the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly, an advanced training course has been launched as part of the English Language Specialist (ELS) program. The project is organized by the U.S. Embassy in Turkmenistan, according to IIC.
According to the source, the invited speaker and program facilitator is Brent Anthony Andres, an English language and communication instructor from the University of the Republic of Armenia. The course is being held in two stages. From June 1 to June 5, university faculty members are undergoing training. From June 8 to June 12, students will join the program.
The aim of the program is to develop participants’ language and professional skills. Participants are studying modern teaching methods, curriculum and educational material development, as well as business correspondence and communication practices. A separate module is dedicated to self-directed learning strategies and the use of artificial intelligence in the educational process.
