The city of Arkadag is preparing for the opening of the second phase of construction, scheduled for 2027. This was reported by the IIC of Turkmenistan.

According to the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, a pilot solar power station project is currently underway in the city. As part of this new phase, residential buildings are being constructed, along with facilities for the food, pharmaceutical and medical industries.

A special Organising Committee has been set up to prepare for the official celebrations.
