A working visit by a Turkmen delegation to London is scheduled for 16–17 May. The visit will include attendance at the Royal Windsor Horse Show and equestrian competitions, held under the patronage of the British Royal Family. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

The above information was reported by Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and Minister of Foreign Affairs, at the government meeting on 1 May.

Preparations are also underway for an exhibition dedicated to Ahal-Teke horses and the traditions of Turkmen horse breeding. Having heard the report, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised the need for meticulous organisation of the visit, noting its particular significance in the context of the year, which is being held under the motto ‘Independent Neutral Turkmenistan − the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses’.
