Another student from the same faculty successfully passed the entrance exams and was enrolled in a one-year internship programme in Japanese language and culture, implemented by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) in the 2025-2026 academic year. Such educational initiatives provide students with practical experience and promote international cooperation in the scientific and academic spheres, as well as helping to train specialists with a high level of professional and cultural competence.
At one of Turkmenistan's largest fields, Goturdepe, the modernisation of oil production has been completed. As part of the project, new gas lift equipment has been installed, which has increased the flow rate of more than 400 wells and stabilised production, according to the news website Asmannews. The modernisation began with the launch of a gas compressor station with a capacity of 12 million cubic metres of gas per day, which ensured an effective transition to the gas lift method. The project was implemented jointly by engineers from ‘Nebitgazçykaryş’ and scientists from the ‘Nebitgazylmytaslama’ Institute, which made it possible to quickly implement scientific developments in production. The successful modernisation strengthens the resource base of Goturdepe, stimulates the development of the oil and gas industry and demonstrates Turkmenistan's commitment to innovation and improving energy security.

The International University for the Humanities and Development (IUHD) has announced the second International Olympiad in Philosophy and Economics for university students from Turkmenistan and other countries. This was reported by the news agency ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’. The competition will be held online from 20 to 24 October in one round. The working languages will be Turkmen, Russian and English. All interested students are eligible to participate, and there is no limit to the number of applicants from a single university. The Philosophy and Economics Olympiads will be held in two categories: Category A will include students of any specialisation, and Category B will include those who do not study relevant disciplines. Universities can also propose tasks — 20 test questions and 5 theoretical questions, which must be sent to the organising committee 20 days before the start of the competition. The Turkmen delegation, together with representatives from the United Kingdom and Central Asian countries, took part in an event in Dushanbe to share experiences in the field of migration statistics, assessing the impact on the labour market and adapting data to user needs.
