On 21 November, during a government meeting, Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva, Deputy Chairwoman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, reported on plans to send young citizens of Turkmenistan to study at universities in China and Hungary. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that Turkmenistan gives priority to the training of qualified personnel and is expanding opportunities for modern education abroad.

After hearing the report, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised the importance of comprehensive training of specialists and recalled that thousands of students are already studying at prestigious foreign universities.

The Head of State supported the proposal to send young people to leading educational institutions in China and Hungary in the 2026–2027 academic year and instructed B. Orazdurdyeva to organise the necessary work.
