On October 16, a meeting was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with a delegation of young diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran. The guests learned about the institution's activities and the training system for future diplomatic personnel, according to the Institute's press service .

During the tour, the delegation visited the Museum of the History of Turkmen Diplomacy, the UNESCO Club “Culture of Peace” and the institute's educational television studio.

A separate meeting was held with students studying foreign languages. In addition to English and Russian, the institute teaches German, French, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic and Persian. Turkmen students welcomed the guests in Persian, demonstrating their oral communication skills.

The participants in the meeting emphasized the importance of learning foreign languages and exchanging professional experience for the development of diplomatic ties between Turkmenistan and Iran.

Following the visit, the parties expressed their interest in further cooperation between young professionals from the two countries, aimed at strengthening traditionally friendly relations, good-neighborliness and mutual understanding in the region.
