The President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, sent an official congratulatory message to the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the country's independence. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

The President of the People's Republic of China also noted the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between Ashgabat and Beijing. ‘Since the beginning of this year, we have held two meetings, during which important agreements were reached on multifaceted cooperation between China and Turkmenistan and a new stage in the development of Chinese-Turkmen relations was defined,’ the message said.

Xi Jinping expressed his willingness to continue deepening political mutual trust, supporting the alignment of development strategies and promoting the Belt and Road Initiative, aimed at building a ‘China-Turkmenistan community with a shared future.’
