Russian President Vladimir Putin sent congratulations to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of the country's Independence Day. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

In his message, the Russian President noted Turkmenistan's achievements in the economic and social spheres under the leadership of Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as the strengthening of the country's position in the international arena.

‘The deep strategic partnership between our countries is developing dynamically in all areas. And we will, of course, continue our constructive joint work on topical issues on the bilateral and international agenda. This undoubtedly meets the fundamental interests of the friendly peoples of Russia and Turkmenistan and is in line with ensuring stability and security in Central Asia and the Caspian region,’ Vladimir Putin stressed.

The Russian President also wished the President of Turkmenistan good health and prosperity and well-being for all the people of the country.
