At the XXX International Conference ‘Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2025’, PETRONAS Vice President Mohd Redhani bin Abdul Rahman presented the company's plans in Turkmenistan, according to the online news resource TerraNews.

He noted that PETRONAS continues to develop its presence in the country through technological cooperation and the introduction of AI, which is already being used in hydrocarbon exploration and production to optimise drilling, predict reservoir behaviour and improve safety.

This year, the company is considering expanding its partnership with the Turkmen company ‘Hazarnebit’, which will combine PETRONAS' experience in Caspian offshore projects with digital technologies for more efficient resource development.
