The Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC 3) is opening in the modern Congress Centre located in the ‘Avaza’ National Tourist Zone. This was reported by the IIC of Turkmenistan.

This significant international event has brought together more than 30 Heads of States and government, as well as representatives of leading international and regional organisations.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, warmly welcomed the distinguished guests who arrived in Turkmenistan. In an atmosphere of traditional Turkmen hospitality, friendly greetings were exchanged with the Heads of delegations, emphasising the country's openness and its commitment to developing international dialogue.
