A two-day UNICEF seminar on improving the pre-school education system is taking place in Turkmenistan. This was reported by the news website Turkmenportal.

The event has been organised in collaboration with the country’s Ministry of Education and brings together representatives from relevant government departments, teacher-training universities, institutes and specialists from across the country.

The seminar is being led by UNICEF international expert Cristian Fabbi. As part of his visit, he will visit nurseries in Ashgabat and hold consultations on the training of nursery teachers. Participants will also discuss modern approaches to teaching children and the updating of teacher training programmes.
