On 15 May 2025, the Centre of Public Organisations of Turkmenistan hosted a scientific and practical conference on the theme: ‘The Constitution of Turkmenistan - a legal guarantee of permanent neutrality of the country, the State Flag - a symbol of international peace’. This was reported by the press service of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan.

The event was organised with the assistance of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, the Mejlis, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

Speakers stressed the symbolism of the joint celebration of Constitution Day and State Flag Day, reflecting Turkmenistan's unwavering commitment to the ideals of peace, humanism and good-neighbourliness.

The event discussed the role of constitutional and legal mechanisms in the implementation of state reforms aimed at sustainable socio-economic development. Special attention was paid to neutrality as a strategic basis of the foreign policy course and investment attractiveness of the country formed on the principles of peace, trust and openness.
