The wheat harvest has been completed in Turkmenistan, with farmers delivering more than 1.4 million tonnes of grain to the state. This result was made possible by the modernisation of agriculture, the development of agricultural technologies and state support measures, according to the state news agency TDH.

The agricultural sector remains one of the key areas of the country's economy. Infrastructure is being actively upgraded, with processing plants and elevators being built and investments being made in equipment and fertilisers. Breeding is also developing, with new wheat varieties adapted to local conditions being developed.

Particular attention is being paid to supporting farmers: grain purchase prices have increased and the private sector is gaining access to land from the state fund. This stimulates production growth and strengthens food security.

Quality control of agricultural work is carried out at all stages, from seed selection to harvest. The use of modern technology, mobile repair teams and support for machine operators have ensured the smooth and efficient running of the campaign.

The successful harvest is the result of comprehensive work to develop Turkmenistan's agro-industrial complex.
