Ahead of the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence, the new Ahal-Teke Equestrian Complex named after the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, with a capacity of 1,200 seats, is to be inaugurated. This was reported by IIC of Turkmenistan.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, noted that the project will help to further enhance the global reputation of Ahal-Teke racehorses.

The new complex will become a key piece of infrastructure for the country’s horse-breeding industry and one of the celebratory gifts marking the anniversary of the country’s independence. The complex will combine national horse-breeding traditions with modern standards.
