On 6 October, the new Consul General of Turkmenistan in Istanbul, Ovezgeldi Jumanazarov, held a meeting with the Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey in Istanbul, Ayşe Sözen Usluer. This was reported by the news agency ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.

The meeting discussed the development of bilateral cooperation and prospects for interaction in the region. Particular attention was paid to trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties.

The Turkmen side thanked Turkey for the productive dialogue and high level of partnership, and the Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed her readiness for further joint work and implementation of common projects.
