On 1 April, Rashid Meredov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, held a telephone conversation with Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad of the Republic of Tunisia. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The parties discussed topical issues on the bilateral agenda and reaffirmed their interest in developing political and diplomatic dialogue, as well as expanding trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties.

At the conclusion of the conversation, the ministers reaffirmed their commitment to further expanding multifaceted cooperation between Turkmenistan and Tunisia.
