On June 16, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan, Nurlan Nogayev. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The two sides discussed the further development of Turkmen-Kazakh relations. Special attention was given to maintaining regular contacts between the foreign ministries of the two countries.
During the meeting, issues on the regional and international agenda were also considered. The interlocutors confirmed the importance of continuing mutual support for the initiatives of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan within the framework of the United Nations and other international platforms.
