Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan discussed current issues of cooperation

Today, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, and his Kazakh counterpart, Murat Nurtleu. During the talks, the diplomats discussed key areas of bilateral cooperation, paying particular attention to further strengthening the multifaceted partnership between the two countries. This was reported by the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan.

During the conversation, considerable attention was paid to preparations for the upcoming Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC 3). The ministers agreed on positions on current issues on the international agenda, emphasizing the importance of consolidated approaches within multilateral formats.

The parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in developing political dialogue, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation. At the end of the talks, the need for further consultations to implement joint initiatives was noted.
