A meeting between Turkmenistan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Annamammet Annayev and Croatian Ambassador Marija Kapitanović took place at the Croatian Embassy in Romania. This was reported by the news website Turkmenportal.

During the meeting, current issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed, and the parties confirmed their readiness to develop and strengthen friendly ties between the two states.

Particular attention was paid to the recent official visit of Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić-Radman to Turkmenistan on 7–8 October, which gave new impetus to deepening mutual understanding and expanding political, economic and humanitarian cooperation.

The parties also emphasised the importance of regular bilateral meetings, business contacts and exchange visits, as well as active participation in international events as key instruments for strengthening friendly relations between the countries.
