Turkmenistan and UN approve agreement to hold LLDC 3 conference

The Government of Turkmenistan and the United Nations have signed an agreement defining the procedure for preparing and holding the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC 3). This was reported by the news website Turkmenportal.

The document was signed in digital format by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, and the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States, Rabab Fatima.

According to the agreements reached, the LLDC 3 conference and related events will take place from 4 to 8 August this year in the ‘Avaza’ National Tourist Zone.
