The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has summed up the results of its business mission to Turkmenistan, noting a transition in trade and economic cooperation to a more practical and diversified stage. This was reported by the Orient news agency.
According to the Minsk branch of the Belarusian CCI dated May 28, the negotiations with the Turkmen Chamber of Commerce and Industry resulted in a number of concrete commercial agreements, which continue a long-standing political dialogue.
The agreements cover the food industry, woodworking, instrumentation, and medical technologies. The main platform for B2B meetings was the exhibition “White City Ashgabat – 2026,” where Belarusian companies presented their export potential.
As a result of negotiations with both public and private structures of Turkmenistan, agreements were reached to begin supplies of Belarusian interior doors, medical equipment, and specialized machinery. The Turkmen side also showed interest in purchasing fiberboard (MDF) and chipboard (particle board), while exports of cellulose and street lighting systems are still under consideration.
During the visit, the Belarusian delegation met with the Ambassador of Belarus to Turkmenistan, Stanislav Chepurnoy, where business conditions, the growth of trade turnover, and participation in future exhibitions and business events were discussed.
