Turkmenistan represented at International Conference on Public Administration

A delegation from Turkmenistan, led by the Head of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Turkmenistan, A. Annamyradov, took part in the Second International Scientific and Practical Conference on Public Administration. The forum, organised from 6 to 7 November by the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation (RANEPA), brought together about three thousand participants from seven countries, according to ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.

The conference discussed current trends in improving public administration, the integration of scientific research and modern technologies into management processes, and the exchange of experience between representatives of the scientific community, civil service and business community.

Speaking at the plenary session ‘Global Trends and Best Practices in Public Administration,’ A. Annamyradov presented the experience of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Turkmenistan, where conditions have been created for the training and professional development of managers and civil servants in accordance with modern requirements.

Also, on 7 November, a meeting was held between the Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Turkmenistan, A. Annamyradov, and the Rector of the Presidential Academy of Russia, A. Komissarov.

During the negotiations, the parties emphasised the importance of the current cooperation agreement and discussed the further development of joint educational programmes aimed at improving the professional competence of civil servants in Turkmenistan and Russia, improving the training of teaching staff and implementing joint scientific projects.
