A delegation from Turkmenistan is taking part in the 10th International Forum on Public-Private Partnership, which is being held from 27 to 29 April in Barcelona. The forum is organised by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan.

The Turkmen side will present information on the development of the market economy and the private sector in the country. Participants will be briefed on promising areas for partnership: transport and logistics infrastructure, energy, the agro-industrial complex, the digital economy, urban infrastructure and tourism.

The ‘Awaza’ National Tourism Zone will be presented separately as a platform for private investment.

As a landlocked country, Turkmenistan emphasises the importance of partnership in the interests of the LLDC group and promotes the Awaza Programme of Action for Landlocked Developing Countries for 2024–2034.
